Hello I'm Elin, I live in Bergslagen, Sweden and I paint and animate.
I create because I find it fun, but also as a way to process myself through all the impressions and experiences life brings. The medium I use is Acrylics, and I love to splash, smear, and let the paint take a prominent role.
I animate using clay in stop-motion technique. There’s a lot I want to explore and learn, and I’m far from done learning.
Humor is important in my work. I enjoy giving faces to things that shouldn’t have one, it’s a way to lighten things up or process them. If someone laughs, sees something unexpected, or interprets it freely, that’s a great compliment! As I grow and develop as a human who tries to find beauty in life, my art is turning out cuter, more colorful and happier. And hopefully someone else finds joy in it too.
